Dino and Anna love each other intensely, but their relationship is not conventional: they have never had sexual intercourse. Dino has always avoided this; for him there is an unbridgeable abyss between love and sex. On the other hand, Dino’s discomfort is expressed by compulsive sex with prostitutes. His even goes in search of Anna's ex-boyfriends to understand their relationships with her, asking them to return to her. Dino's pain makes Anna feel deeply loved, unique. Anna seems unable to find a solution. How can she resolve this tormented relationship?
Born in Bergamo, Paolo Franchi lives in Rome, where he graduated from the Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia and apprenticed as an assistant to established directors. After a few shorts and documentaries in the 1990s, he made his feature debut in 2004 with THE SPECTATOR, which was shown at the MWFF. His second feature, FALLEN HEROES (2007), screened at Venice and many other festivals.
