Synopsis

When she was still a young girl, Yoon-hee lost her little brother in the swollen river during the rainy season, and she has been living with the pain and guilt ever since. When she meets Jin-ho, he becomes her surrogate brother and she starts to heal her emotional wounds. While trying to save Jin-ho from the perils in which he finds himself, she manages to overcome the trauma that has been afflicting her for so long. She finally takes the steps for re-entry into the world.

 

Director

Born in Suwon, South Korea in 1974, Won-sik Lee graduated from the Korean Academy of Film Arts and has worked as a screenwriter and assistant director on several features. A BOY'S SISTER is his debut feature. He has also directed TRAVELLER FROM THE NORTH (2013).
