For the Best New Canadian Student Director, presented by Kodak Canada Entertainment Imaging.  The winner receives a digital camera and 4200.$ of film.

BEST ANIMATION PRODUCTION :

« TIC TAC » by Emmanuelle Loslier (ConcordiaUniversity)

 

BEST DOCUMENTARY PRODUCTION :

« OS TRÊS DEPORTUGAL » (THE THREE OFPORTUGAL) by Jordan Paterson (SimonFraserUniversity,Vancouver)

 

BEST EXPERIMENTAL PRODUCTION :

« POUR SINCLAIR » by Maxime Brouillet (Université Concordia)

 

BEST FICTION PRODUCTION :

« LA CAQ UESENT TOUJOURS LE HARENG »  by Paul Tom (UQAM)

 

SPECIAL MENTIONS:

« PAST THE SKIN » by Sabreena Peters (SimonFraserUniversity)

« TYPOLUTION» by Olivier Beaudoin (UQAM)

 

Jury wishes to mention the overall quality of the music of the films presented at the 38th Student Film Festival.
