August 28th 2007, 10:00 AM
Salon Alfred Rouleau, room A, Level 4
Hotel Hyatt, 1255 rue Jeanne-Mance, Montreal.

Independent Filmmaker-Researcher, Louise Lamarre, will show a 6 minute demo-trailer and talk about her technical innovation in the field of special effects that has just been granted an American Patent.

Named Holo Editorial Layering Process (H.E.L.P.), the process allows instantenous special effects to be shot on set and that do not require any further work at post-production stage.

It provides Directors and Cinematographers with the full spectrum of aesthetic choice in framing, depth of field control (sharpness of images), subtle lighting, freedom of movement and staging possibilities while reducing film budgets up to 50% in the most costly departments. Very good news for the independent filmmakers.

The invention is a digital process usable with any medium, 35mm, High Definition, etc, that cannot be outdated.
