After suicide. The death of a father one thought one knew, but whose internal wounds had gone undetected. For the children it is the beginning of a painful quest for meaning. A quest that is made more difficult by a past that has been clouded by lies. Over the years, however, countless clues and inconsistencies have begun to contradict the official version of accidental death. The orphans grow up in this environment of deceit, unable to explain their unremitting sense of confusion, incapable of closing the deep personal wound that they have inherited and which continues to torment them.
