In a cattle-raising village in the mountains, live two brothers, Carlos and Paco, who depend completely on each other. They are sharing the responsibilities of fathering an 11-year-old orphan girl. Among the visitors to the summer festival at the village is a striking Oriental woman, Keiko, who is accompanied by a man. During a dance, a violent incident occurs and the man disappears. The woman takes refuge in the house of the two brothers. The young girl, who has lost her own mother, is immediately attracted to the mysterious newcomer. So is Paco. A series of events, not all of which are accidental, upset the village. Things will never be the same again... |

Vicente P�rez Herrero Born in Madrid in 1955, Vicente P�rez Herrero, began his filmmaking career directing shorts in the early 1980s, many of which won prizes in Spain and abroad. He made his first feature, LA VIDA PRIVADA, in 1995. His other credits include: Afeites (1983), Mujer esperando en un hotel (1983), Galer�a nocturna (1983), No podr�s recordarla (1984), El tratado de Odessa (1985), Las tribulaciones de Job (1991), Dominatrix (1992) and La doncella o el martillo de San Pedro (1992). |
