Argentina
1999 / Video / Color / 67 min.

The Condor Plan was a conspiracy by the military dictatorships of Argentina, Uruguay, Chile (General Pinochet was arrested last year in London in part because of this plan) and Bolivia during the late 1970s in which left-wing "enemies of the state" were spied on, kidnapped, tortured and murdered. Over 300 people went "missing" under the Condor Plan. Drawing on previously unseen material unearthed in several South American countries as well as Spain, this documentary reveals how the plan was put into practice and includes interviews with some of the people who took part in these events.
