AND LIFE GOES ON... / ET LA VIE CONTINUE...
In June 1990 a terrible earthquake devastated a large area of the northern province of Guilan. Three days after the quake, a father and son set out for the town of Rudbar, which was hard hit. They are trying to find out the fate of two young boys, Ahmad and Babak Ahmadpour, who appeared in the film WHERE IS MY FRIEND'S HOUSE? The road to Rudbar is blocked, so the travellers are forced to take a difficult detour. They pass by shattered villages. Amid the rubble -- recreated for the film -- a man who has lost a sister and five nieces still busies himself rigging a television antenna because, as he says with a smile, the World Cup comes only every four years.
