Chad is a country in the middle of Africa which has experienced nothing but colonization and civil war during the 20th century. One day, first in one village, then in another, to resist a bloody and autocratic regime, the peasants and workers take up arms. A civil war begins. The vicious circle closes and every power creates its own opposition. War becomes the country's sole economy and violence its only discourse, its only political communication. Many African countries, along with countries in Asia and Latin America, have been mired in this madness for decades and do not know how to get out. Using the myth of Cain and Abel as inspiration, the story of this film tells how the inexorable war machine ends up splitting apart two very close friends who started out with the same ideals.
