LULY KREUTZ'S PICNIC
World-renowned cellist Jascha Steg is at the height of his career. He has the fame and the fortune, but true, lasting love escapes him. He takes advantage of a concert in the resort city of Evian to bring along his uncle and parents, an elderly Paris couple of Viennese-Jewish extraction. In Evian, by chance, he runs into Anna, an old girlfriend who is now playing in the orchestra that will accompany him. His schedule and celebrity haven't afforded Jascha much time for family and friends, so he uses the occasion in Evian to go on a picnic in the mountains arranged by Lulu Kreutz, an old friend of his parents. Served up along with the food is a menu of bittersweet remembrances, remonstrations, jealousy, even a vain attempt at rekindling an old flame...
