Konrad von Seidlitz, an ambitious young lawyer, has an office with his partner Axel Häring. As a publicity gag he decides to serve a sentence of 14 days for unpaid parking tickets. The arrogant new inmate who boasts about his social connections (the justice minister's daughter is his fiancée) soon makes enemies among the prisoners. Even Annika Hofer, the prison psychologist who approaches him pleasantly, meets with a nasty rebuff. Fairly quickly, he ends up in the middle of a conspiracy which puts him behind bars for alleged drug trafficking. Abandoned by his fiancée and betrayed by his partner, the spoiled yuppie is now a victim of the tough prison routine. He gets picked on by the boss of the inmates, Czernetzky, and by the murderer Ramón. But Von Seidlitz doesn't buckle under the pressure and he begins to win the respect of the other inmates. He learns that he was framed by his ex-partner and he teams with Czernetzky and Ramón to plan an escape. |
