Three parts, three periods in our common history. Three words which, in their own way, express the questions that mankind has been asking itself since the beginning of time. A dialogue by Plato ("Gorgias"), brought to life by two actors; a monologue by Hannah Arendt ("The Nature of Totalitarianism") delivered by one actor; and a contemporary dialogue written by the director, between a man and woman in their fifties who, for half their lives, have followed the same path. A philosophic tradition thoroughly linked to the modern world. "Miéville turns off the faucet of images and sounds, and gives us what to see and hear. Thank you, Madame." -- Le Nouvel Observateur "Modest, pretentious and funny in equal measure... surprisingly accessible and rather sweet... Jean-Luc Godard is excellent in the morose role, with a deep, rumbly voice, dorky knit cap and grumpy, petulant demeanour that are endearing." -- Lisa Nesselson (Variety)
