Athens, today. Thirty-five year old Thodoros Dimitriadis' wife leaves him. After a short while the abandoned husband learns that his wife has become a high-class hooker. What is even more preposterous, however, is that her pimp pays Dimitriadis a visit and tries to convince him that he has only fraternal feelings for him, and even offers to "protect" Dimitriadis. He belongs to a certain class of men who cannot be alone, the pimp explains to Dimitriadis. And he will always be attracted to a certain type of woman. The type of woman, in fact, who will always work for pimps like him! Dimitriadis can't believe what he hears. But, sure enough, before long, he meets Eva, his wife's "replacement", and within months the pimp's predictions are proven correct down to the last detail. Dimitriadis doesn't know what to think. Can all this be just a nightmarish coincidence?
