Dir.: Lothar Lambert Born in Rudolstat, Germany in 1944, Lothar Lambert grew up in Berlin where he studied journalism and began his professional career as an editor at "Der Abend". Lambert gravitated toward television and film, working first as a freelance critic for various publications and then as a director on the "Berliner Fenster" television newsmagazine. Since 1971 Lambert has worked largely in the avant-garde cinema, directing, producing and often starring in his own films. Among his directing credits are: FAUX PAS DE DEUX (1976), NOW OR NEVER (1978), TIERGARTEN (1979), DIE ALPTRAUMFRAU (1980), FUCKING CITY (1981), FRÄULEIN BERLIN (1983), PASO DOBLE (1983), VIERBETEN VERBOTEN (1987), GUT DRAUF, SCHELCHT DRAN (1993) and IN HASSLIEBE LOLA (1994). |
