C'est la veille de Noël. Julia, étudiante en beaux-arts d'une vingtaine d'années, est restée seule à la maison. Depuis quelques années, elle vit avec Christian, un policier dans la trentaine qui, las de son travail de bureau, espère ouvrir un studio de conditionnement physique. Il aurait voulu que Julia soit son associée, mais depuis que celle-ci sort avec Frank, un jeune barman séduisant, ce désir semble difficile à réaliser. Pour oublier son désarroi, Christian décide de passer les vacances chez ses parents. Entre-temps, Julia a l'intention de se séparer de Frank. Mais le même soir, celui-ci lui déclare son amour. C'est dans ce contexte que Christian va jouer un jeu macabre et sordide. Il appelle Julia et lui annonce qu'il a eu un accident. Comme il l'espérait, Julia est secouée par cet appel. Mais Frank n'en croit pas un mot, ce qui pousse Julia à prendre sa revanche: tout en continuant sa conversation téléphonique avec Christian, elle fait l'amour avec Frank. Mais soudain, au hasard de la discussion, elle s'aperçoit que les choses ne sont pas aussi simples qu'elles paraissent... | Silent Night
It's Christmas Eve. Julia, an art student in her late 20s, is home alone. For the past few years she has been living with Christian, a policeman in his mid-30s who is tired of his desk job and wants to open a fitness studio. He wants Julia to join him in the venture but their relationship has floundered since Julia met Frank, a young and attractive bartender. Christian, who has a hard time dealing with the situation, goes off to his parents' for the holidays. Julia, meanwhile, has been thinking of breaking off with Frank. But Frank has chosen this particular evening to declare his love for her. It is in this context that Christian begins to play a macabre game. He calls Julia and pretends to have had a serious car accident. As he had hoped, Julia is shaken, but Frank quickly sees through the lie. Julia decides to get revenge. While she is talking on the phone with Christian, she cheats on him with Frank. But, suddenly she realizes that his lie is even greater than she suspected...@signature:Dani Levy |
| Né à Bâle (Suisse) en 1957, Dani Levy commence sa carrière artistique en tant que clown et acrobate pour le Cirque Basilik. Par la suite il joue au Théâtre de Bâle et joint la troupe de théâtre Rote Grütze à Berlin. C'est en 1985 que Dani Levy tourne et joue dans son premier long métrage, DU MICH AUCH, dans lequel il s'est donné le rôle principal. Sa filmographie comprend: ROBBYKALLEPAUL (1988), I WAS ON MARS (1991), "Berlin Break" (série pour la télé, 1992) et OHNE MICH (1993).
| Born in Basel, Switzerland in 1957, Dani Levy began his showbusiness career as a clown and acrobat at the Zirkus Basilik. Later he acted at the Theatre Basel and joined the Rote Grütze theatre group in Berlin. Levy made his directorial debut in 1985 with DU MICH AUCH, which he also wrote and starred in. Levy has continued his parallel careers in acting and directing. His directing credits include: ROBBYKALLEPAUL (1988), I WAS ON MARS (1991), "Berlin Break" (tv series, 1992) and OHNE MICH (1993).
