Adamo, jeune camionneur, rentre chez lui dans le sud de l'Italie à la mort de sa mère. C'est là qu'il rencontre Angela, une jeune prostituée. Bien qu'entre eux se crée un lien d'affection solide, la relation souffre d'un certain déséquilibre, puisqu'Angela s'y investit beaucoup plus que lui. Elle trouve en Adamo celui qui lui donnera finalement l'amour qu'elle cherche, mais son attitude à lui souffre d'une certaine réserve, même parfois d'une franche indifférence. Chaque situation l'influence et il lui faudra peu de temps pour se trouver mêlé à un meurtre. Il commence à s'intéresser à une autre femme, la soeur d'un ami qui l'a laissée tomber à la veille de leur mariage. Finalement, le comportement d'Adamo dérange à tel point Angela qu'elle refuse de l'aider lorsqu'il est arrêté. Mais sa décision aura de surprenantes conséquences. 		THE BLACK HOLES

Adamo, a young truck driver, returns to his home town in the south of Italy following the death of his mother. Here he meets Angela, a young prostitute, and though a bond of affection develops between the two, the relationship is a bit unbalanced; she invests far more in it than he does. She sees in him the person who might finally give her the love she seeks, but his attitude, though cordial, is marked by a certain reserve, even indifference. He is easily swayed by events and before long gets involved in a murder and begins seeing another woman, a friend's sister who has been jilted by her fiancé on the eve of the marriage. Adamo's behavior is finally too much for Angela. When he is arrested she refuses to help him if this means lying once more to herself and to the world. But this decision has surprising consequences.
Né à Naples en 1960, Pappi Corsicato a étudié la danse et la chorégraphie à New York et la musique en Italie. Son premier film, LIBERA (1993), a été très bien accueilli en Italie et montré dans plusieurs festivals internationaux de cinéma dont celui de Montréal.
Born in Naples in 1960, Pappi Corsicato studied dance and choreography in New York and music in Italy. He made his auspicious film debut in 1993 with LIBERA, which won numerous awards in Italy and was shown in many international festivals including the Montreal World Film Festival.
