Bubbles Galore est une grande vedette du porno qui réalise ses propres films, des productions pour adultes aux goûts les plus variés. Jimmy, son distributeur et principal commanditaire, l'aime bien, mais les affaires sont les affaires et il tient à ce que "Good Girl Gone Bad", la dernière production de Bubbles soit prête au cours des quatre prochaines semaines. Entre-temps, Bubbles s'est entichée de Dory Drawers, sa dernière découverte. Elle veut en faire la vedette de son prochain film. Mais voici que la jeune fille en question ne possède aucune expérience ni dans le domaine du film porno, ni dans les choses reliées à l'acte physique. Bubbles Galore is a porn superstar who produces her own, unique brand of "adult" entertainment, pornography that everyone can enjoy. Jimmy, her distributor and chief financial backer, likes Bubbles but business is business and he needs her latest film, "Good Girl Gone Bad", shot, cut and in the can within four weeks. Bubbles is smitten with ingenue Dory Drawers and hopes to make her the star of her film, but Dory is naive and not only hasn't she any experience in porn, she has none in sex. Bubbles must give her a crash course in both. This, however, is hardly the worst of Bubbles' problems. Godfrey Montana, the kingpin of porn and Bubbles' former boss and boyfriend, is out to get back at her for having jilted him and having become his biggest competitor. He initiates an elaborate scheme to sabotage the production of Bubbles' new film and wreck her career. But Bubbles turns out to have heavenly "protection"... |
| Née à Montréal, Cynthia Roberts a étudié la philosophie à l'Université Carlton, à Ottawa, et le cinéma à la Ryerson Polytechnical University, à Toronto. Elle commence sa carrière cinématographique en tant qu'assistante à la caméra et en travaillant comme preneuse de son dans la télésérie "The Last Frontier". Par la suite, elle s'implique activement dans le secteur du film indépendant à Toronto et tourne de nombreux films expérimentaux et des vidéos publicitaires qui lui ont valu de nombreux prix. Sa filmographie comprend: "Samsara: The Case of Carp 23" (1990), JACK OF HEARTS (1993) et THE LAST SUPPER (1994), ces deux derniers présentés au Festival des films du monde.
| Born in Montreal, Cynthia Roberts studied at Carleton University in Ottawa and Ryerson Polytechnical University in Toronto where, respectively, she earned degrees in philosophy and cinema. She began her film career as a camera assistant and sound recordist on the TV series "The Last Frontier". Active in the independent film scene in Toronto, Roberts has worked on numerous experimental films and commercial videos, winning several awards for her work. In 1990 Roberts wrote, produced and directed her first film, "Samsara: The Case of Carp 23". She has also directed JACK OF HEARTS (1993) and THE LAST SUPPER (1994), both of which were shown at the Montreal World Film Festival.
