Hannah Carras, la jeune et jolie psychiatre qui travaille pour la police de Seattle, reçoit pour mission d'évaluer le comportement d'Adrian Cross, un bel et riche homme d'affaires accusé d'avoir commis un triple meurtre à caractère sexuel. Avec l'aide de Michael Weinberg, le procureur général adjoint, décidément trop empressé de déclarer Cross coupable, Hannah poursuit sa démarche sans suivre les conseils du détective Andy Sachs, son ancien amant. Elle décide donc de mener sa propre enquête sur le client. Mais à mesure qu'elle fouille dans le dossier, elle choisit d'aller encore plus loin, mettant sa vie en danger. Hannah Carras, an attractive young criminal psychologist working for the Seattle police department, is assigned to evaluate Adrian Cross, a handsome and wealthy businessman who is suspected of committing three brutal sex slayings. The deputy district attorney, Michael Weinberg, is eager to convict Cross and is hoping that Hannah will be able to get him to reveal something incriminating. But Hannah has her doubts. Without sufficient evidence the police are forced to release him. But the case isn't closed for Hannah. Against the advice of Detective Andy Sachs, who used to be her lover, she begins her own investigation of Cross. As she delves deeper into the case, Hannah finds it difficult to resist Cross' dangerous seductiveness, even if it puts her own life in danger...
Né à Calgary en 1961, David Winning a déjà plusieurs réalisations à son actif. À l'âge de 22 ans, il réalise STORM, son premier long métrage de fiction. Entre-temps, il tourne aussi de nombreux épisodes de téléséries: "Street Justice", "Neon Rider", "Afraid of the Dark", "Friday the 13th: The Series"... Sa filmographie comprend: KILLER IMAGE (1992) et REASONABLE FORCE (1996).
Born in Calgary, Alberta in 1961, David Winning directed his first feature film, STORM, at the age of 22 (it was released theatrically in 1988). In 1992 he directed KILLER IMAGE and he subsequently directed numerous episodes of such television serials as "Street Justice", Afraid of the Dark", "Friday the 13th: The Series", "Neon Rider" and "Sweet Valley High". He has recently directed REASONABLE FORCE (1996) for Showtime television.
