Bill et sa petite copine Jessica partagent un appartement à New York. Dernièrement, ils vivent une étrange relation. Bien qu'ils aient envie l'un de l'autre, Bill est physiquement incapable de satisfaire sa compagne depuis environ six mois. Les choses se compliquent lorsqu'un soir Bill arrive chez lui et trouve son amie dans les bras d'Arthur, son patron. Ce dernier essaie de partir, mais Bill l'assomme. Quand il reprend conscience, Arthur s'aperçoit qu'il a les mains et les pieds liés et qu'il est attaché à une chaise. C'est à ce moment que Bill décide de faire l'amour à Jessica, ignorant totalement la présence d'Arthur. Un peu plus tard, Bill fait du chantage à son "prisonnier" en lui présentant des photos compromettantes le montrant en pleins ébats amoureux avec Jessica. Pour son silence, Bill demande à Arthur de lui faire un chèque au montant d'une somme suffisante pour qu'il puisse s'acheter un bateau de plaisance. Il ajoute aussi qu'il devra demeurer captif jusqu'à ce que le chèque soit encaissé. Entre-temps, il devra se contenter de regarder le couple en train de faire l'amour. Bill and his girlfriend Jessica, who live together in a New York apartment, have an unusual relationship. They lust for each other but haven't made love in nearly six months. Bill just hasn't been physically up to the task. Things become more complicated when Bill comes home unexpectedly one Friday night and finds Jessica in the passionate embrace of her boss, Arthur. When Arthur tries to leave, Bill knocks him out and ties him into a chair. With his adrenaline pumping, and Arthur as a helpless spectator, Bill is finally able to make love to Jessica. Bill blackmails Arthur with photos he took of Arthur and Jessica caught in the act. He forces Arthur to write him a large cheque so he can finally buy the yacht he always desired. Until the banks open Monday morning, Arthur will have to remain hostage and an unwilling catalyst to Bill and Jessica's lovemaking. The weekend draws to a close... |

| Starting as a carpenter on MAXIMUM OVERDRIVE, Karl Slovin has held a variety of jobs in the film industry from assistant on TV commercials to production co-ordinator on "Eight is Enough: Reunion Special". After working as an assistant on Brian De Palma's BONFIRE OF THE VANITIES, Slovin attended the New York University Graduate Film Program. SEX... AND THE OTHER MAN marks his directorial debut in features.
