THE WAITING ROOM Dans la salle d'attente d'une grande gare, chacun des passagers s'occupe de ses petits problèmes, mais l'un d'eux décide, lorsque sa femme part chercher du café, de déshabiller des yeux certaines des femmes qui l'entourent. L'une d'elle, une beauté tout de bleu vêtue, lui retourne chacun de ses regards. Il n'arrive pas à croire ses yeux. Quand l'épouse revient s'asseoir à ses côtés, il aura vécu une expérience unique, mais il saura à l'avenir se méfier des regards qui osent défier les siens.	THE WAITING ROOM In the waiting room of a large train station, some travellers observe each while others are too involved in their own problems to pay much attention to anyone else. One man raises his scrutiny to another level. While his wife is away getting coffee, he begins undressing the women with his eyes. A beautiful blonde in blue returns his stare and he can't believe his eyes. By the time his wife returns with the coffee, the man has had a rather remarkable adventure.
Né à 1945, à Utrecht (Pays-Bas), Jos Stelling est un autodidacte qui s'est fabriqué au cours des ans et gr%ce ^ ses oeuvres un style cin_matographique particulier. Il a commenc_ sa carri_re avec MARIEKEN VAN NIEUMEGHEN (1974). Depuis il a r_alis_: ELCKERLYK (1975), REMBRANDT FECIT 1669 (1977), DE PRETENDERS (1981), LOILLUSIONISTE (1983), DE WISSELWACHTER (1986) et DER VLIEGENDE HOLLANDER (1995).	Born in Utrecht, Netherlands in 1945, Jos Stelling is a self-educated filmmaker with his own, peculiar cinematic style. He made his directorial debut in 1974 with MARIEKEN VAN NIEUMEGHEN. Since then he has built a small but remarkable body of work.
