| Since making her directorial debut in 1967 with "Moi un jour", Montreal cinéaste Mireille Dansereau has made nearly a film a year - shorts, documentaries and fiction, for television and for theatrical release. Her LA VIE RÊVÉE (1972) was the first fiction feature directed by a woman in Quebec outside of the National Film Board. Dansereau took her masters at the Royal College of Art in London in 1969 and the original footage for this film dates from that period.
