| Né en 1933, Elem Klimov a réalisé entre autres Raspoutine (1975), Adieu à Matiora (1983) et Requiem pour un massacre (1985).
| Elem Klimov was born in Stalingrad in 1933. Noted for his documentary-style camerawork, he was one of the founders of the Union of Soviet Filmmakers and won international attention with Come and See (1985). Among his other films are: Welcome Kostya (1965), Agony (1975) and Farewell (1981, completed from an unfinished project by his late wife, Larissa Shepitko).
