LA SEGUNDA MUERTE (THE SECOND DEATH)
Alba Aiello, a young detective, moves to a small town where nothing seems to happen. Until one day a group of burnt corpses are found in a praying position in the middle of a field. Alba and her assistant Fidel open an investigation. Which leads nowhere until a strange child arrives in town claiming to have the gift of seeing people's past simply by touching their photos. When the child demonstrates his powers by discovering Alba's dark secret, he gains her trust and she begins to believe in a paranormal explanation for the deaths in the field. The local priest tries to persuade her that it is the devil's work...
Santiago Fernandez
Born in 1974, Santiago Fernandez graduated from the Buenos Aires Film Research Centre and began working in the film industry as a production manager and assistant director. He directed two short films himself and co-wrote the screenplay for BAJAR ES LO PEOR (2002) directed by Leyla Grunberg. THE SECOND DEATH is his first feature.
