ROMAN POLANSKI: A FILM MEMOIR

This documentary tells the extraordinary story of Roman Polanski's life, beginning with his childhood in the Cracow ghetto, his first films in Poland, the move to Paris, his career in Europe and America, crowned with an Oscar for THE PIANIST, the tragedy of the murder of his pregnant wife Sharon Tate in Los Angeles, the controversy surrounding his arrest in 1977, through to his work and life today in France with his wife Emmanuelle Seigner. The interview was done while Polanski was under house arrest in Gstaad, Switzerland, in 2009.

Laurent Bouzereau

Born in France, Laurent Bouzereau moved to New York to work in cinema and wrote his first book, The De Palma Cut. In Hollywood he continued writing and began making documentaries, the "making of" some of the biggest hits of the biggest directors, inluding Spielberg, James Cameron, Hitchcock, David Lean, Scorsese, De Palma, William Friedkin, George Lucas, Warren Beatty… and Roman Polanski.
