David Safarian
-- Born in Yerevan, Armenia in 1952, David Safarian studied fine arts in his native city and graduated from the Moscow film academy, VGIK, in 1983, when he joined Armenfilm Studios. His documentaries and art works have been shown across Europe. His short, However Odd, But Khokhlova, won main prize at the Oberhausen Festival in 1986. He made his feature debut in 1992 with THE LOST PARADISE.
