Back
POTESTAD
Fragmented, distorted, Eduardo's daily reality is a mosaic of disturbing events that don't seem logical. Slowly, through numerous clues, the true story emerges and it is entirely unexpected. While travelling by subway, Eduardo tries to reconstruct a traumatic incident that forever changed his life -- the loss of his ten-year-old daughter. While trying to reconstruct the details of the event, his train of thought is interrupted and the facts are distorted by his different emotional states. The changes in time and the characters that are related to different periods of his life, suddenly intrude on his voyage, modify his reality, seemingly without purpose, and force him to make painful revision of his recollected memory.

Luis Csar D'Angiolillo
Luis Csar D'Angiolillo began his film career in 1972 as an editor on Fernando Solanas' LOS HIJOS DE FIERRO and he quickly earned a reputation as one of the premier editors in Argentine cinema. Among other noted films he edited are TANGOS, THE EXILE OF GARDEL (1986) by Solanas, HOMBRE MIRANDO AL SUDESTE (1986) by Eliseo Subiela, CAMILA (1984) and MISS MARY (1986) by Mara Luisa Bemberg. His own directorial debut, KILLING GRANDPA, was shown in the 1993 Montreal World Film Festival.
