DOGMA 25: CONVERGING WITH ANGELS
Dylan Thomas, a high-priced male prostitute, is distressed. He's about had it with clients (both male and female) who push him to have unsafe sex. A bit older than most of the the "boys" in the trade, he'll still in high demand. One day after work, Dylan sees a beautiful woman, Allison, in an evening dress passed out on the sidewalk in a bad neighbourhood. Perhaps hoping to force some measure of redemption in a life that is financially comfortable, but morally and spiritually bankrupt, he decides to rescue the woman who is clearly in trouble. He picks her up, takes her to his swank apartment overlooking the Chicago River, and puts her to bed. In the morning, when Allison awakes in a strange bed, she immediately suspects the worst. When she discovers that her presence in Dylan's apartment is a result of his compassion, she is relieved and immediately begins to fall for her saviour. When Dylan returns home later in the day, he finds that Allison has cleaned his apartment and made him dinner. Allison, it turns out, has had her share of bad relationships and she is immensely taken by Dylan's seemingly random act of kindness. Can this man be different from the rest? In the throes of falling for one another, however, Allison and Dylan are soon forced to deal with the bitter realities of their lives prior to their chance encounter.
