TO MY BIRTHMOTHER
On one level, Marie has always known exactly where she comes from -- a warm, devoted family with loving parents and three adopted siblings. It wasn't until she herself gave birth that she realized her babies were the first people she had ever known with a flesh-and-blood relationship to her. She experienced the powerful bond between mother and child and began to wonder about the woman who had "given her up" more than three decades earlier. This film follows Marie as she opens a Pandora's Box of secrets and surprises in her quest to unravel the mystery of her origins. Along the way, she makes an unexpected discovery and finally learns the identity of the person who gave her life.
