KATRYN'S PLACE
Katryn is a working-class immigrant who is struggling to deal with the death of her seemingly perfect husband, Ken. Ken had rescued her from a life of alcohol and promiscuity and now that he's gone, she is depressed and reverted to her old habits. A car accident while drunk earns Katryn a sobering few days in the hospital and brings her back to her senses. Determined to straighten out both her business and her life, she begins to map out a way back to a healthier life that she had glimpsed with Ken. And with a little help from Ken's notary, the business seems back on track. But her personal life still needs some work. Her new lover is illusive, her mother abusive, and Ken's father hates her and that damn dog that Ken left behind who keeps running away. One day Katryn decides to follow Dog and she suddenly discovers a brutal web of lies and betrayal that send her life into a murderous trajectory.
