Still physically suffering from a car accident 16 years earlier, the director encounters feelings she hadn't experienced in a long time when she takes a trip by train across the United States.
Kirsten Winter
-- Born in Hanover, Germany in 1962, Kirsten Winter studied at the Braunschweig School of Fine Arts and worked as a photographer before co-founding the Braunschweig Film Festival in 1987. She has worked in various filmmaking capacities, taught in Germany, the U.S. and New Zealand, and collaborated on the script and production of Gerd Gockell's SAROTTI AND MAROTTI, showing at this year's Montreal World Film Festival.
