Montr�al, August 6th, - 2002 � � We are very proud to present a selection of Japanese films for this focus on one of the most promirent national cin�matographie, � Dani�le Cauchard and Serge Losique stated today. Besides, INOCHI will be presented in the Official Competition, the Festival will present the following films in its Focus on Japanese Cinema.


JOGAKUSEI NO TOMO (HIGH-SCHOOL GIRL'S FRIEND) 2001 / Vid�o / Couleur / 104 min / Dir. Tetsuo Shinohara
An elderly retired man who relives his loneliness by cultivating a relationship with his teenage granddaughter finds that he is developing a special attraction to one of her friends.
