Telefilm presents the Panorama Canada section
and hands out a Best Canadian Feature Film Award

Telefilm will be renewing its support for the Panorama Canada section, thereby allowing festivalgoers to discover the best Canadian films of the past year. For the seventh consecutive year, the Corporation will also give out the Telefilm Canada Award to the Best Canadian Feature Film, which is selected by popular public vote. The Award includes a pre-approved contribution worth $25,000 to developing or producing a feature film eligible for financial support from Telefilm Canada. Last year, the Award went to Tar Angel (L'Ange de goudron), directed by Denis Chouinard.

The Corporation invites producers to register their works at the Canadian Screenings.
