Synopsis
Vanetia Casey, the spirited and optimistic centre of the Casey family, is working hard to get life back to normal after her 38-year-old husband, Conor, suffers a stroke. An American doctor, Ted Fielding, arrives in Ireland to stay with them for two months, his research grant providing the Caseys with essential financial aid. With two children and two men in the house, Vanetia feels harassed but soon comes to appreciate Ted's calming influence and he, in turn, enjoys their happy-go-lucky world. But his continued presence in the house sets the family on course for an emotional collision.
Director
Born in San Francisco, Steph Green divides her time between Los Angeles and Dublin, Ireland. Her third short, New Boy, won numerous festival prizes including best narrative short at the 2008 Tribeca Festival and a nomination for the 2009 Academy Awards. RUN AND JUMP marks her directorial debut in features.
