Synopsis
Elise, who lectures in a Parisian museum, lives alone with Leo, her 10-year-old son. Her husband, Leo's father, has been dead a long while. Now she is in a stormy relationship with Paul, whom she met before her husband died. As for Paul and Leo, they get to know one another over time. The two lovers are caught in a vicious cycle of comings and goings, alternating joyful and turbulent moments. One day, they get into yet another argument and Paul leaves. Then Elise learns that she is pregnant. She tells Paul that she can't keep the baby. But, like her eventual relationship with Paul, that is a decision that life will make.
