Synopsis

Just 14, Jon has already been expelled from school for three months. Traumatized by her husband’s suicide, his mother Margo sends him to the country to stay with his grandfather, Max, a retired military man, hoping the older man will teach the unruly boy some discipline. Max has hired Toni, a young man from the village, to act as Jon’s private tutor. Unfortunately, Jon is more interested in spending time with a local Colombian gang who are always getting in trouble and especially with Nelson, their cocky leader. Who is going to teach whom a lesson?

 

Director

Born in Madrid, Spain in 1962, Gracia Querejeta has been working for 25 years as a screenwriter and director, particularly in television. For the big screen, her credits include UNA ESTACION DE PASO (1992), EL ULTIMO VIAJE DE ROBERT RYLANDS (1996), CUANDO VUELVAS A MI LADO (1999), HÉCTOR (2004), SIETE MESAS DE BILLAR FRANCÉS (2007) and Fracaso escolar (2012).
