MEDIA ACCREDITATION - REGULATIONS

Accreditation is granted to critics and journalists covering film on a regular basis.
Accreditation is granted only to professionals assigned by a recognized media to cover the Festival.
Please complete the "Request for Media Accreditation" and enclose the following items:
- a letter (on official letterhead) signed by your editor or program director confirming that you are assigned to cover the 1997 Festival;
- two recent photos passport size with your name on reverse side;
- a photocopy of your official press card;
- four articles or scripts on film with your byline, published or broadcast within the past 12 months; for electronic media, send copies of your broadcasts on VHS/audio cassette. The material will not be returned.
Only complete requests, complying with all conditions mentioned on this form will be accepted. We must receive a complete file by August 1 in order to process the request. The press card is valid only for this year's edition of the Festival.
Professional photographers:
Only professional photographers assigned by a recognized press agency / publication will be accredited. Please attach to this request:
- a letter (on official letterhead) signed by the editor confirming that you are specifically assigned to cover the Festival;
- two recent passport size photos with your name on reverse side;
- a photocopy of your professional photographer's card.
- if you were accredited last year, please attach copies of your published photos.
Press cards will not be issued to researchers, cameramen, soundmen, producers and directors. Freelancers will not be accredited unless they are assigned by a recognized media and meet all other requirements.
Your accreditation will be processed only once your file is complete. The press card will be issued at the press office reception desk. Unless this request is returned before August 1st, duly filled out and accompanied by the required documents, we cannot guarantee accreditation.
