Pr�sidente du jury en / Jury President in 1997

Well this is indeed a fond memory. I think it was 1997, when I was the head of the Montreal International Film Festival. We had an excellent jury - very talkative and opinionated, well matched with each other and a lot of humour besides.

Te receptions were interesting, the food good and Serge Losique kept me quite busy! I had a blast. I personally enjoy the diversity of international films, as one learns a lot.

The event was unfortunately side swiped by the death of Princess Diana and a great sadness was felt, but overall it was marvelous.
