Synopsis
Xu Ruining, a nationally renowned therapist, is highly skilled in hypnosis. Then he meets a patient who brings him a problem that hypnosis can't seem to solve.
Director
Born in 1981, Taiwan filmmaker Leste Chen quickly established his reputation as a young master of horror films with a spine-tingling haunted-mansion debut, THE HEIRLOOM. He followed that with ETERNAL SUMMER (2006) and two more romantic films, LOVE ON CREDIT (2011) and SAY YES (2012). He returns to his horror roots with THE GREAT HYPNOTIST, which is being presented as part of this year's tribute to Michael J. Werner, Films Sales Chairman of Fortissimo Films.
