Synopsis
During his military service, having learned that his girlfriend is pregnant, a young man leaves his unit without permission and takes a train to meet her and help her end her unwanted pregnancy. On the way, an incident on the train and feelings of guilt prompt a change of heart. He decides he wants to marry her. Luckily, the girl hadn't found money for an abortion. At her boyfriend's request, she now waits for him. But fate has some surprises in store for both of them.
Director
Born in Yerevan, Armenia, Nariné Mkrtchyan and Arsen Azatyan studied film direction at the Yerevan Pedagogical Institute. They both work at the Armenian State Studio, where they have directed short and feature films, some winning prizes at film festivals. Their features: BOBO (1991), RADIO-YEREVAN (1992), THE RETURN OF THE PRODIGAL SON (2008).
