Synopsis
Silvia is one of many nurses at the Alicante University General Hospital, but she has a gift that sets her apart -- she can say “I am very sorry” in five languages. She is the interpreter, the person who conveys the death of a foreign person to his or her family and who at the same time has to ask them to donate the person’s organs to save other lives. A dynamic narrative based on the form of crossed stories, with the goal of making a single universal story: people change, life goes on.
Director
After taking a degree in psychology from the Autonomous University of Madrid he indulged his passion for photography and film finally making his first documentary in 2000: Cockfighting: Betting on the Past. Subsequent films include: END OF WAITING TIME (2009), FOUR SEASONS (2009), HANGING FROM A DREAM (2012), MY SCHOOL (2012).
