Synopsis
A year in the life of the Mont Saint-Grégoire and its people, over the course of four seasons, beginning in winter. From snow to the soft colours of spring, then those of the summer, fall, and again back to the snow. This document follows the awakening of nature, its development in all its forms and activities of men and women who follow its rhythm. The main products of the mountain are maple sugar and apples. The subjects talk about their work, the history of the mountain and its ecology.
Director
A multidisciplinary artist, Bob Mc Kenna works at one in media and visual arts. APPLES & MAPLES joins a body of documentaries such as Étiquettes, Calligraffity, À PROPOS DE L’AFFAIRE CORRIDART (2002) and DERRIÈRE LE KODAK (2011).
