Synopsis
Flatmates Marouane and Fouad, two close friends in their early thirties, run a bakery selling a highly popular speciality. One day, while surfing the web, they come across the page of an online celebrity, Yasmine Rizki. Marouane, who claims to know how to talk to women, bets he can convince the star to have dinner with him. Fouad takes the bet. Marouane gets to work composing a letter to the lady. He pretends to be suffering from terminal cancer...
Director
Born in Casablanca, Morocco in 1969, Mohamed Karrat began his professional career as a computer engineer then began being interested in filmmaking in Paris. He made numerous commercials and videos. His shorts include L'Autre (2002) and Le Cadeau (2003). His debut feature, NHAR TAZ TFA DOW (2011), was a commercial hit at the Moroccan box office.
