Synopsis

When Hans looks back, he thinks: That was a good life! He saw the world, loved his wife Martha and yes, two, three things went wrong. But let’s not talk about that. And now? Two years ago Martha died, Hans can barely manage his daily routine anymore, and after a visit to the vet his beloved dog Miller doesn’t return home. Hans is tired. Basically he can’t be bothered anymore. He wants to die. But he doesn’t want to talk about this. Well, maybe with Willi, his friend. He trusts Willi; he considers him his ally, who will help him implement his plan. Willi the true friend, who will support him until the end…

 

Director

Born in Arrau, Switzerland in 1946, Paul Riniker studied law in Zurich then had various jobs, including high school teacher, before becoming a journalist and an editor for Swiss television. Since 1980 he has produced over 70 documentaries, in particular about people in need, and garnered many awards along the way. In 2010 he directed the fiction feature, LITTLE PARADISE.
