Synopsis

Abasiri, 50, arrives in the capital from a remote village to identify a dead woman. It's been fifteen years but Abasiri recognizes his wife Suddhi on a mortuary table.

 

Director

Born in Sri Lanka in 1968, Prasanna Jayakody grew up in an artistic family and at age 21 directed his first play, Shadows and Men. He then embarked a career in television, directing numerous serials and telefilms. His theatrical features include SANKARA (2007) and KARMA (2010), both shown at the Rotterdam Festival.
