Synopsis
The game is simple: two duelists wearing Kevlar vests face each other, draw, and shoot. The one left standing wins. John is good enough to want to be the best. Zorringer (Mickey Rourke) is the best. When John challenges him, Zorringer sees the spark of something interesting; a calm fearlessness and a boiling need within John. But that’s not enough reason to take him on. Not yet. So John hits the road with Colt, a woman fighting in a man’s game. She’s brash, funny, and on a mission to find Red Gomez, who killed her brother in a match by cheating...
Director
A veteran of the New York Transit Police and a former military cop, Ken Sanzel segued from law enforcement into filmmaking when Savoy Pictures gave him a three-picture screenwriting deal in 1995. He has written several pilots and created the FOX-TV series Lawless among others. Previous features: SCARRED CITY (1998), LONE HERO (2002), NOMADS (2010).
