Synopsis

Zoe, 17, is angry about her father Valentin’s new girlfriend, Jasmin. Instigated by her best friend Julie, Zoe accuses her innocent father of sexual abuse. What starts out as a result of pubescent confusion and frustration, soon turns into a legal nightmare for all parties involved, during which dark secrets about Julie’s own and real abusive history come to light.

 

Director

Born in Zurich in 1953, Markus Fischer has been a scriptwriter, a director and a film score composer. In 1985 he founded the Boa Film Production and Snakefilm Inc. in 2000. Selected filmography: DER NACHBAR (1986), ZIMMER 36 (1988), BRANDNACHT (1992), ONE BULLET LEFT (2003), MARMORERA (2006) as well as numerous films and series for television.
