Synopsis
Hae-ri, a TV reporter, decides to cover the story of a modern slave who is disabled and has run away. She learns of suspicious activity related to slavery at salt mines on a remote island and convinces her cameraman to accompany her to the site. She disguises herself as a producer for a documentary on salt mines and attempts to gather information through interviewing people of the island. However, the residents of the island deduce that she is not who she says she is and begin being aggressive toward her team…
Director
Born in Seoul, South Korea in 1969, Lee Ji-seung studied film at Hanyang University and New York University. then found work as a producer in New York. Back in Seoul he continued his career producing ten theatrical features. He made his feature directing debut in 2013 with VENGEANCE OF A MOTHER.
